South Dakota: husband fired at age 58 1/2 because company eliminated assistant manager's position which he held for 6 years. Worked 20+ years under three different owners. Sept., 2000 company sold with 50% ownership by employees. Has rheumatoid arthritis which was under control with medication. Lost any vested interest and can't find employment in field and pay scale. Health going down fast due in large part to stress from firing and inability to find like employment in area. Can case be made for filing a suit against company?
