Interested in anyone’s input on this: I quit my job two weeks go but my employer forgot to take me off the payroll, thus I have received my pay through direct deposit for two weeks ($1200) more than I am entitled to. I worked there for two months and the first month was off the books(paid by check). I don’t need them as a reference. My question is...do I have to give this money back? What is the worst they can do to me? Any advice or opinion is appreciated.

Yes, you have to give the money back. They can sue you for it. If they do, you will lose.
