What is the name of your state? California

I know that an empolyer can require a note from a doctor following sick leave. But, where might I find that in California Labor Law so that it may be posted. I am not a Lawyer and have looked around and am stuggling trying to find some thing.

Thanks for your help,

Paul

It's not that there is a law saying an employer can ask for a doctor's note after the employee has been out sick. It's that there ISN'T a law saying that they CAN'T.

It would be impossible to compile a list of all the things that are permitted. So in the absence of a law saying that a practice is prohibited, the employer's right to take that action is assumed.
