I am writing from Michigan. I resigned my position 2 months ago due to adverse working conditions including lack of strong management, working short staff and being treated negatively by a couple of co-workers. I had been employed in this position for five years. Do I qualify for unemployment benifits and if so is it too late to file now?

If you quit you are disqualified for at least 8 weeks maybe more...

You can file....but you will have to prove you have good cause to quit....but i dont think you have.

RULE #1 NEVER NEVER NEVER QUIT A JOB.....

You can still collect unemploymnet if they escort you by ARMED GUARD OUT THE FRONT DOOR....but quit nope!
