In light of recent tobacco lawsuits and the airline steward lawsuit, what recourse do I have in a Michigan State prison that sells cigarettes to prisoners that I cannot stop from smoking and polluting the air I must breathe in the housing unit I work?

In theory, plenty. In reality, probably notmuch. I worked in a secondary school whereengines ran all day. When inspectors came, giant fans were turned on. (this was the auto shop)

I presently work in a school where there is asbestos on the fifth floor.

It is up to you to go through the chain of command at your workplace, then dime out to a big agency on your own, if nothing results. I am not a lawyer.
