Family Medical Leave Act

I was terminated from my job as church secretary on the day I was to return from Maternity Leave. Do churches fall under the Family Medical Leave Act? My employer had over 50 employees, just not sure if churches fall under this law. Thanks.

Churches with the requisite number of employees are covered employers under the Family Medical Leave Act.
