Can an employer enforce and Non-compete agreement against an employee that he fired?

I haven't seen the agreement. I was wondering if they are ever enforceable against a fired employee.

*** Yes, they CAN be enforced..... but whether they could in this case (or whether the agreement is even enforceable) would require a full review of the agreement and the specific conditions.
