i was fired from my job after a year because (my employer stated)of an arrest that occured on my days off and he was afraid that the police would return to place of employment and arrest me again.is this legal?juli622 in oregon

Probably is legal because you are likely an at-will employee. Also, it is certainly not discriminatory for an employer to not want the embarrassment and or disruption of having an employee arrested on their property during company business hours.
