Fired YesterdayI work in Wichita,Kansas. Yesterday I was fired by my district manager for not attending a mandatory district meeting that he had told me I did not have to go to. Is he able to fire me for a reason like that ? Would it be worth seeking further legal advice over this ? Gary |

| If it was a mandatory meeting, it was a mandatory meeting. Did he actually have the authority to tell you, you didn't have to attend? If not, perhaps he was overridden by someone else. If so, it's still legal UNLESS it is a pretext for a discriminatory reason. |
