| FMLA Violation Maryland
Hi everyone! Does anyone out there know if you can/should file a lawsuit against your employer for violating FMLA? I was fired and then re-hired and given back pay once I filed a Dept. Of Labor complaint and the violation was pointed out, however this has happened TWICE and it has been extremely stressful, and they just have a smug attitude like they can do this whenever they want, because most employees wont take the time to file a DOL complaint. I just don't know if I can sue, because they have given me back pay, however there is still the pay I missed due ot missed overtime opportunity. Plus, just the stress and humiliation of getting fired illegally. What to do? |
