starting a background check service
I am looking at starting a new business. It would be a background checking service. Am I liable by law if I gain information that is false? I live in North Dakota and would be happy if any information about libel and slander laws could be relayed to me. The service I want to provide is to employers evaluating potential employees. Is it risky to me to go into this kind of work? PLEASE HELP!!!!
