California, Hello just a quick question I just signed an employment agreement, it spells out pay what exspected of me so on so fore, it say's i must give in writing a 14 day notice, if i choose not to do this does my employer have any legal recourse?

That depends on whether or not the agreement constitutes a contract or not.

If it does, they can sue you for breach of contract.

If it doesn't, all they can do is accept your resignation immediately and refuse to pay you for the remaining notice time.

I can tell you, it is unlikely that the agreement is actually a contract. However, you will need to show it to a local attorney to be absolutely certain.
