What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? md

do i have to tell an employer on a job application why am on ssi diablitity?
the company is not in md but i do live in md.

You don't even have to tell the employer (on the application) that you're RECEIVING SSI. However if your disability could affect the job and you might need an accomodation, you will need to tell them about it after you receive the offer.

Now you will probably have to tell the SS people about the job income, but that's another issue altogether :)
