Hi - I am from Minnesota ***** there were
seven employees who after being harassed in
our customer service department by new
management constantly - and demeaned and
set-up went to our human resource department
head*****we had a long list of documentation
and took in some articles on bullying -
hostile work environment etc. ***** there
were veiled threats made during this meeting
by HR - "there will be no repurcussions from
this meeting but if anything happens understand it is not from this meeting"****
we don't know what to do now - feel in
danger of losing our jobs **** are continuing
to document - can they fire us??????

Sure they can. Why not? You have presented no useable facts so how can any attorney give any better opinion? If your state is an at-will employment state, then you can be terminated at any time, with or without a reason. Further, you can quit at any time, with or without a reason.

The only exceptions are that the termination can't be on protected basis such as age, race, religion, etc. Also, that if you have a written contract stating that you can only be fired for certain reasons.
