Hourly vs Salaried

I am from Pa. I need to know if there is a law stating that the position "Buyer I, Buyer II, Buyer III and Purchasing Agent" must be salaried exempted, non-exempted , hourly or can employers pay in either form? If so where can I get a copy of this law? Also, is there a standard on pay levels for each position?
