How long to return personal affects from desk

Is there a specific law that says how long the company has to return personal affects after they terminate?

There is no such law in any state, nor Federal. It is strictly up to the company. If the company is not forthcoming with your personal effects, call HR and make an appointment to have them escort you to your previous desk/office so you can retrieve your things.
