What is the name of your state? SC

Recently I was terminated after 2 years of service to a very large national company. When I was originally hired I signed a "No compete" agreement. I have since found employment in the same trade since it is what I have been doing for most of the last 10 years. My question is - Is the No compete agreement binding even if my employer termintated me, or is the agreement terminated as well. Thanks for any assistance

That depends entirely on both the laws of your state, and the EXACT wording of the non-compete agreement. You will have to show the agreement to a local attorney to get an answer. We cannot comment on an agreement we have not read.
