I was terminated. Started collectiing UI. Suddenly payment stopped. I called & was told employer claimed "I resigned". I have asked for hearing (telephone only contact).
1. In NY is employer required to provide written notice of termination (Pink Slip)? with reason?
2. My employer was actually in Ca. While the parent Corp is in Tenn. The Parent Corp recently took over payroll.
How can this impact my claim?
