I want to resign but my boss says I will have to pay for flights back to the city

Hello,

I was given a position of chef on a cattle station for 5 months and they flew me to their station 4 days ago but the business is run poorly and many staff wants to leave and unhappy so I told them that I did not like the job and wanted to be booked on the next flight home
No contract signed – Can they ask me to pay for the flight back to Perth
I was employed on a 3 weeks on 1 week off – Fly in / Fly off
