What is the name of your state? WV

Is the employer responsible for paying employee accumulated vacation/sick/personal time in addition to the hours worked?

Is this state of federal law?

It's governed by State law. No laws require an employer to pay out unused sick or personal time upon separation. My understanding of WV reg's on the matter indicate an employer must pay out earned but unused vacation pay when an employee terminates.
