What is the name of your state? FL
At the time when I was injured in a work accident and on sick-leave I was fired - as I was told, because the emplyer was not satisfied with me.
I was employed under the six month contract and I was fired at about the middle of this period.
Wasn't this the wrongful termination of contract?
If it was, what are my rights?

You're going to have to show the contract to a local attorney. Nobody here can comment on an employment contract they haven't read. It's also possiblel there was a violation of worker's comp statutes if you were fired in retaliaton for having a WC injury.
