My son had a problem where I called the police and he was taken down to juvenile 3 years ago. The charge was attempted assault with a deadly weapon and could be classified as a felony offense. However, he was not tried as an adult.

He received 6 months probation with counseling.

He is now completing college applications. Some of the applications ask questions about criminal convictions.

At one time I was told that juveniles are not convicted of felonies. Felonies are referred to adult court.

At any rate, How does he answer questions about convictions on these applicatons?
