Depending upon the time frame in which this took place, any on the job time over "8 hours a day" is considered overtime under existing law in your state.

Check your states Workers Rights Law pertaining to hours and pay at the local states Employment Development office.
You can inform the company of the law, collect the back money owed you. Could just be an 'Oversight' on the part of the company.
