What is the name of your state? Texas

A family member was recently laid off 6 weeks prior to his full retirement date and found out because of this he will only get 30% of what he would get if they had waited 6 more weeks and allowed him to retire. Is this legal and who in the state government in Texas should he contact?

Thanks

Whoa. More information is necessary before anyone files a complaint with the State.

To start with, what were the circumstances of this relative's layoff? Was he/she the ONLY individual who was laid off or were a number of individuals/positions cut? What reason was your family member given for the layoff?
