What is the name of your state?
Georgia

I was required to purchase a Minivan as a condition of employment at my previous job. I was given a list of vehicles to choose from and had to purchase one by the end of December 2004. In January of 2005 the company that I worked for was purchased by another company and in February of 2005 I was laid-off. I was offered no severence. Do I have a legal claim for the extra money that I paid as a result of purchasing the new vehicle?

Unless you have some type of written agreement as to this, the answer is no.
