last pay check

i was let go from my position today, when is my employer to pay me per federal, or state law. (illinois)

my boyfriend worked for the same company and was let go on 8-15-01 and still has not seen his last check. I thought that they had to give it to you on the spot, or with in 72 hours. Please help..... thank you

Your boyfriend has six months from that payday to file a complaint. You can call them at 312-793-2808 Read the law. Those guys could be seriously burned!
