What is the name of your state? ca
I don't know where to post this exactly. I had a previous post about a breach of contract..long story short, I hired a lawyer to pursue. She was only a pay-per hour lawyer, but she gave me the option of a contigency basis. Which should I choose? $250 per hour or if I win she wants 40%, if the defendant settles before court she wants a 1/3. She doesn't see there being that much work for this case...but, you never know..those hours add up. If the amount i'm going after is $16,000....do I do per hour or contingent? Any opinions would be great!!! thank you!

There's no way for someone to give you an answer without knowing the specifics of the case, and many people prefer not to do searches for previous posts.
