i am in california.
i am on disability leave and recieving disability payments from the state. is it leagl for the company i was employed with to let me go while i am still on disability? i was under the impression that they had to keep me on employed status. they let me go feb. 28, 2001 and i recieved the letter stating this on march 2, 2001. i have been on disability since oct 20 2000.
