What is the name of your state?PA

I posted a few weeks ago regarding a letter of confirmation for a promotion with my company. They finally did honor the letter and I received the raise/title promised.

I was told however that this is only for the upcoming fiscal year. Can they now do this? I did not sign a yearly contract. I am a salaried employee.

thank

Yes, this is legal since you are without a contract stating otherwise.

There is not federal or state law that either requires or protects raises in pay.
