licence for internet marketing??

I am in GA. I am starting a business in internet marketing thru SMC. They said you need a licence, my zone is in a residentual zone. I will not be having customers and truckloads of material coming here. I plan to sell directly on the computer using drop-shipments. Would I be against the zoning law, and if I am what do I do to have the internet business?
