I live in the state of Texas. One week before resigning from my job I was given a pay increase. During my review and evaluation I was told by my supervisor that pay increases were late and that I should see an increase and retro active pay soon. Weeks later I received only my last paycheck with the increase. I asked the human resource director they reveiwed my records an e-mailed me back that my new pay was effective since 3/15/01. several months prior. Now that I have left I have been told that they have paid me all my wages and owe me nothing.
I signed and accepted my pay raise at the time but the effective date was not entered by the supervisor, I was told they were not sure of the actual date and would let me know. I asked again for the information and never got it.
I was told that the e-mail from human resource stating the effective date means nothing and they refuse to pay.

The amount is several hundred dollars and believe that I am still owed this amount.
