What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado

I applied at Lowes in Colorado Springs, and got all the way through the interviews and was offered a position. My background check came back ok, but it said that I could not operate any company vehicles (forklift, etc...). All the positions at Lowes required employeees to operate a vehicle of some sort. I did have a misdemeanor theft on my record about 20 years ago. I just don't understand why it came back that I couldn't operate a forklift or any other company vehicle. The sales manager is a friend of mine and he is trying to find out whats going on. Do you know why they would say that I am not able to operate a company vehicle... the position requires forklift operation, not truck or car. I just don't understand and am very frustrated, I really need this job. Please help me!! does Lowes need to provide why they wouldn't let me operate a forklift or any  If I can't operate a forklift, I can't get hired.

Why do you think any of us would know what Lowes' background check says about you, let alone why it says it?

Lowes does not have to provide you with a reason why. They can simply not hire you.
