I applied at Lowes in Colorado Springs, and got all the way through the interviews and was offered a position. My background check came back ok, but it said that I could not operate any company vehicles (forklift, etc...). All the positions at Lowes required employeees to operate a vehicle of some sort. I did have a misdemeanor theft on my record about 20 years ago. I just don't understand why it came back that I couldn't operate a forklift or any other company vehicle. The sales manager is a friend of mine and he is trying to find out whats going on. Do you know why they would say that I am not able to operate a company vehicle... the position requires forklift operation, not truck or car. I just don't understand and am very frustrated, I really need this job. Please help me!! does Lowes need to provide why they wouldn't let me operate a forklift or any
