I was fired from my job (without notice) 2-weeks before distribution of a company profit sharing check.
The company policy states that you must be "actively employed" on the date of distribution to receive the profit sharing.
Although my earned vacation days take me past the date of distribution, I am told that my vacation days were "cashed-out" when I was released from the company.
Would the vacation days make me actively employed on the distribution date?
Thank you.
