As a bartender, my tips constitute what I make.
I keep all my tips and claim on my timecard. I am
paid $2.37/hr. by my employer . The FLSA states
minimum wage is$5.25/hr. In GA, my information shows minimum wage at $3.35/hr. Also, according to FLSA, the
tip credit may not exceed 50% of required minimum
wage. If that is the case, shouldn't I be paid at
the rate of $2.58/hr.? That is, 50% of $5.15?
