I have an older lady that works for our company. She is an indendent contractor and gets 1099. I have no control of how she works, when she works, etc. She is on commission only. However, she works under our mobile home dealer license. She is licensed with us through the Department of Housing as a salesperson. She has hung her license under our dealership. Her is my question, She has cataracs in her eyes. And her eyes are failing her. She is having surgery on them at the end of next month. Can I insist on a doctors release prior to her coming back to work for our company?
