What is the name of your state? PA
I had asked once before if it was legal for an employer to change an employees job to maybe a sales position if they wanted to. Someone on here said there wasn't anything illegal about that. What if the employee has a non compete listing their job duties of what they do now - would the employer have to write up a whole new non compete agreement detailing the changed job duties? If they don't, would that non compete be void becuase it doesn't list what the job duties are?

Thanks in advance

froggy, that's something only a local attorney can advise you on after reading your current non-compete agreement.

Look at the alternatives. Do you still have a job if you do not accept the new responsibilities? If not, you need to decide if you are willing to go into something new or if you are willing to work somePLACE else.
