In Ohio, under a non compete, can an employeer determine who you can and can not go to work for? If not, if you get cleared for one employer does it clear the agreement...

non-compete

nope, your employer cannot bar you from being employed from any other employer, unless it is a federal security issue.a non-compete agreement,is usually an agreement enterd into stating that you would not go into a bussiness for yourself, that would be a simular bussiness that you had signd the non compete agreement with, also in this agreement it usually stipulates that if you become employed by another employer, whos job discription was the same as your previous employer, you agree not to disclose privite information to your new employer, the non compete agreement for starting your own bussiness usually includes a specified amount of years before you would be released from the contract, there are ways that one can go around this agreement.such as having the bussiness put into a relatives name,or a very good friend.the other way, which is more ethical,is that in most states an attorney is usually needed to verify a true non compete agreement, for all one really has to do,is sign a signature that is simular to your name, but not exactly in the way that you sign all of your other bills, checks, and etc.and thus in a court of law you deny truth of facts presented that the name that you signd was a name that looks simular to your name, but in fact it is not your legally represented signature.nor the signature that you use in any of your transactions,as the way that you sign your name is exactly as shown on your drivers license.i am not an attorney, please consult with one in your home state.good-luck,friends.
