What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania

I signed a contract with a non compete clause in it. It's a loose clause that states no penilties if I actualy violate it. I've been reading up on my options. I would like to start my own buisness in light of being fired from the company. I've been reading up on the non compete laws and they've said that I'm pretty much ok to go ahead and work for a competitor, but what about becoming the competitor?

We cannot comment on an agreement and a clause we have not read. You will need to show the ENTIRE agreement (not just the non-compete clause) to an attorney in your state.
