Im in Florida, and I am currently working for a company for the past 4 years. When I was hired I signed a confidentiality/non disclosure agreement. What exatly did I sign? Am I able to leave this business and go work for another similar business without getting sued? The problem I am having is that a few people from my current company left here already, and are opening therir own similar business. Does that agreement I signed just mean I cant talk about my old company? Its not the same as a non compete agreement is it? Because I KNOW that is not what I signed. Any help/advice would help on this. Thank-You!

Without having an opportunity to review the text of the actual document, only a true moron would comment on the implications of what you signed. Have an attorney review the document.
