I am teaching on an emegency credential in the state of california and do not have a background in education. My employer did not inform me that the postion I was being placed in would require me to teach students with histories of assaultive behavior, and who continue to assault. Am I obligated to finish the time in my contract dispite the fact that the full nature of my assignment was not disclosed prior to my signing the contract? Would I be entitlied to unemployment benifits?
