When I accepted a job with a Texas company there was no mention of a non-solicitation agreement.
On the first day of work, after I'd already left my previous employer and relocated my family I was given a no-solicitation agreement to sign which stated "I shall not recruit, hire, or help to recruit or hire any employees of the company for one year after leaving"
I signed it because at that point I had no choice unless I wanted to be unemployed.
I recently left the company. Is this agreement enforceable? Also, a former co-worker has asked me to have my new company's recruiter contact her. Is this a violation of that agreement?
thank you,
Steve
