I am a nurse in GA. I have been employed at a hospital for 3 years. A form has been handed out for all employees to sign authorizing background check for criminal record, medical history, credit check , and driving record. I am willing to consent to the criminal background check , but I feel the rest is my personal business and has no bearing on my job as a nurse. Can I be fired for refusing to consent ? Thanks, Cynthia
