What is the name of your state? IL

Hello,

I'm a non US citizen who is working for a US company in IL using H1-B (working) visa.
I'll go back to my home country permanently next year.
Now My boss has asked me if I can work for him after I go back.
It'll be some kind of outsourcing/overseas employment.

Now I'm not quite sure how to do that.
I know that I won't have to pay US tax if I work in my country.

How about my boss? What's the law & taxes for this case?
Can you please let me know how to process this?
:confused::confused::confused:

Thank you in advance!

Thank you for a quick reply.

My company is a small company and we have never done that.
My case will be the first case and I'd like to help my boss to get some info.

Also, I want to see if it's complicated for him because I don't want him to change his mind.

The problem is, your question is WAY too broad to be answered in a message board format, particularly since we are not inside your boss's head and do not know what he has in mind.

OK.

My question is
If a company wants to hire an overseas contractor, what are the laws & taxes they should be
concerned with?
