In Nebraska - Is it breaking the law if an employer has you work more then 16 hours a day? If so, how much time can pass before you can't do anything about it?

There are no max hours to work -- but you should be compensated at least time and half for those hours over a 40 hour work week. This is per the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor and flsa.
