What is the name of your state? Texas
Can a pending felony stop me from getting a job cause I would really like to know because I am a single mom and I have no family and it is hard for me because I am about to lose my job. Please help. :(

Sure it can, anything can. Your asking a very general question. Think about it....If a employer had the choice of hiring a felon or Joe next door, who do you think he wants?

It's not to say that you can't get a job, it is just not going to be as easy if they run a background check.
