My former employer informs me that I can not transfer or take the money out of my retirement fund until I turn age 55. I left the company 12 years ago and currently have around $47,000 there. I have Lupus and I am unable to work full time. I am currently unemployed and in dire need of the funds. Is there any way to get around their rules?
