What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Arkansas

I was discharged over a year ago, and would like to have my personnel records. Before I make my request, please tell me where Arkansas law stands on this. Can I ask for the originals? If not, how acceptable are copies in court?

Personnel files belong to the employer. In no State is an employer obligated to turn over the original documents to an employee. In some States, statutes require an employer to allow an employee to see their file or provide copies upon request. Arkansas is not among those. You are free to ask your employer for a copy of your file but they have no obligation to comply.
