| My daughter was a nursing asst. at a local hospital. She found out late in the fall of 2000 that she was pregnant. She completed her 90 day period and was hired full time. Her employer knew she was pregnant. Her pregnancy was horrible; constant morning sickness; migraine headaches; preterm labor; etc. She was reprimanded for being a patient in the hospital on one occasion and again for being sent home from the emergency room when her supervisor sent her down there. She was placed on light duty in March and was told there was no such thing for NA's; she knows this accomadation was made for 2 other people. She was forced to take leave on May 9th and told she was eligible for 6 weeks. She found out in April she was terminated the day she went on leave. Does she have any kind of lawsuit here and what does it entail? |

| Sounds like there are a number of violations, including FLMA. If it was me, I would seek the consultation of an employment law attorney experienced with hospital/medical employment.
