The company (corporate office in Minnesota) that I am working for is going through an acquisition. I am a consultant, receiving both salary and commission. We were just notified that we will not be paid commission for our work in December. The acquisition does not take place until Jan. 1. Does my employer have the right to take away something that we have already "earned"?
