Reduction in pay for no apparent reason??

Just was wondering if a company can drop your pay for no apparent reason on a sub-contract who gets paid hourly, but calls it units instead of hours? Thanks

Unless you have a contract that says otherwise, yes they can. But they can only do it going forward; they cannot make the change retroactive.
